Lisa Summers has over 10 yrs of public relations experience helping clients in television, wine, fashion, food, music, beauty and entertainment markets to develop and expand profile and brand images in the press. Current and recent clients include, OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, CBS Television, TV Guide Magazine, Hilton Hotels, Vogue Magazine, Kate Spade, The Metropolitan Opera, Bure Family Wines and Chateau Boswell. For a 2nd year in a row she is nominated as publicist/PR Executive by BizBash magazine.
Ms. Summers worked with OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network as a VP of Communications consultant to strategize a national PR campaign through broadcast, print, and online to launch the most anticipated network for 2011.
Before OWN, Summers was Vice President at CBS Television
for over six years, working on the #1 and #4 entertainment news magazines shows, “Entertainment
Tonight” & “The Insider.” She also produced the annual Entertainment Tonight Primetime Emmy Party, which garnered the name, "the next Vanity Fair party of the Emmy's" for 7 years.
Ms. Summers is known for her creative strategy and project management skills, this in addition to her relationships throughout the industry she generates enormous results even with constrained budgets. She has a broad understanding of all facets of communications, a strong background of pitching and winning new business and a demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful public relations strategies in high-pressure daily situations.
